Trader Joe’s

IDS served as the civil engineer for this 9,500 SF grocery store located in West Houston. The project is located in the Royal Oaks Village Shopping Center on Westheimer Road between Kirkwood Road and Wilcrest Drive. IDS prepared civil drawings for paving, grading, drainage, and utilities for the proposed building and parking lot. IDS also prepared public plans for utility connections in the right-of-way. Both the developer and Architect were based outside of Texas; therefore, IDS played an important role in coordinating with local agencies and assisting in the permitting processes.
