IDS Sponsors the 2015 WHA Impact Award Luncheon

On Wednesday, April 1, IDS participated as a sponsor of the West Houston Association’s (WHA) 2015 Impact Award Luncheon. The luncheon took place at the Westin Houston Memorial City Hotel and honored Mr. Joe B. Allen, founder of the law firm Allen Boone Humphries Robinson.

The WHA was formed in 1979 by business leaders who were interested in supporting infrastructure development to improve the quality of life experience in the West Houston area. The IMPACT Award was started in 2004 to honor the work of individuals who set standards for growth, as well as the pace for others to follow. This award has only been given three other times since its inception and Mr. Allen will join the group of recipients including:

• Walter Mischer, Sr – Mischer Investments (2004 IMPACT Award Recipient)
• David S. Wolff – Wolff Companies (2005 IMPACT Award Recipient)
• Ned Holmes (2012 IMPACT Award Recipient)
