Doug Turner Elected VP of Texas Society of Professional Surveyors

Doug Turner, RPLS was recently elected Vice President of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) for 2016. On Saturday, October 10 he was inducted in his new position at the Gala Celebration of the Annual Conference of the TSPS. Throughout his term, his duties will include attending committee meetings and quarterly board meetings, as well as speaking at chapter meetings throughout the state.

The TSPS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the surveying profession through education. This organization serves as a resource to everyone involved in every level of the surveying profession, including field crews, survey techs, and para-professionals, as well as licensed surveyors. The TSPS also provides the opportunity for members to network with others across the state and be informed of current issues that may affect surveying overall.
